Welcome Back, My Readers from an Amazing Holiday Season! Time to Get back in Our Routines Again! As do I!
It is Always My Honor to Welcome You to Another Year of Uplifting, Encouraging, and Inspirational Newsletters to come! But, First, Happy New Year and Welcome to 2026!
Ah Yes! 2026! I feel like This is a Scene from a Movie in which You are at a Party with Your Close Friends and Every Friend is always Identified by Their Role at Said Party.
You have The Quiet (err.... Silent) One that likes to be Observe until A Topic that Interests Them comes Up; You have The “Always in The Kitchen” Friend that Hangs out in The Kitchen, The Whole Party Long! “It’s Where The Food AND Action is!, They’ll tell You. There are Many Other Characters that Comes Along to This Party but, Then, Is If A Stage Play were happening. 2026 Enters! (Dramatic Music)
2026 is One of Those Party Characters that has Alot Going on and Alot to Say! And, Naturally, People have Mixed Opinions about.
Some say that This “2026 Character” is Literally The Life of The Party, Besides those that are “Always in The Kitchen”.
One “Hey! How are You?! What’s Up, Man?!” turns into an Hour long Discussion about Everything from Life Events and Who did What to Politics and World Events.
This “2026 Character” is referred to as “The One who Always Talks!”, Their a Good Friend to have sometimes, IF You want to Hear The Tea about Someone or Something. Just Don’t Any Secrets! Just Saying! If You want to Hear Their Intellectual Comments about Political Events and World Events, They’ll tell Ya. Of Course, There are Those who are a bit Unsure about “Always Talking 2026” and Sure, They’ll tell Ya, “Man! The Dude (or Dudette) won’t Shut Up! They won’t stop Talking”.
Now, I’ll tell ya, Maybe if You put The Silent One and “Always Talking 2026” together. Tell The Talker to bring up Topics that They like, Maybe not “The Who did What” Tea but, The Political Events or Maybe even Other Intelligent Topics, Believe it or not, It will be The Silent One’s Time to Shine! And, People will be like “What I didn’t know You felt THAT Way about that?!” So, Welcome 2026 to The Party, Everyone! And, Make Sure that 2026 brings “The Silent One” Out to Shine for a Bit, YA Never Know What might happen.
Oh! And Yes, We have Plenty of Tea for You to Talk about!
The World Cup, First Bi-City Olympics, Universal Kids Resort, and Of Course, My Cousin’s Wedding!
So, Let’s Start with The First Order of Business to Open a Year, The Tagline of My Newsletter, The Christianville Spirit.
It has a Tradition here at The Christianville Spirit since This Newsletter started to do a Tagline after The Title of The Newsletter, as You see above in Every Newsletter that I write. For a Long Time, It used to be just a Tagline. Well, Not JUST a Tagline. But, at The Time, It was. It was a Tagline to make My Newsletter cool. After a Few Years, after I followed another Tradition of Polling Friends and Family for New Taglines, It kind of took a Life of It’s Own. My Taglines started becoming The Theme of My Newsletter that Year and More on The Theme of That Year.
So, Of Course, It goes without saying that The Year 2026’s Tagline is The Spirit that Encourages Magical Moments
So, Considering that 2026 will be The 20th Year of My Newsletter, The Christianville Spirit, I decided that I wanted to make it Special, so I asked for Suggestions on My Facebook Page and Newsletter Group, and
One Close-To-Us PTLS Family Member, Annette, messaged me and Told Me about This Tagline Suggestion, I wasn’t sure about it at First, but Going into New Year’s Day, After I had made The Call for The Tagline to be The One that She chose, It felt that I have been hearing a lot about “Magical Moments”, Even The Theme of The Rose Parade was about “Magical Moments”. Plus, I know that This is a Line that I know that Annette, Herself references alot
What does that mean? Or What does that Theme mean?
So, When I think of Magic, I think of Three Different Things!
Magic is One of Those Topics that is Strange, Mystical, and Amazing in Different Ways.
The First Magic that I think of, is Obviously A Magic Trick! Card Tricks, Penny Tricks, Ear Tricks, and Of Course, It goes without Mentioning, My Uncle Craig’s Trademark Wallet Trick. Believe It or not, My Brother used to do Magic Tricks when He was a Kid. Personally, I haven’t been a Fan of Magic Tricks but, My Uncle Craig’s Trademark One was Pretty Cool!
The Second Magic is One that Real and You have to be Careful about. Commonly referred to as “White Magic” and “Black Magic”. In Other Words, What Wiccans do. Yes, I know; An Oh-So-Sensitive Topic but, It is a Type of Magic for All Intents and Purposes!
And, then Of Course We talk about The Third Magic
The Very Unexpected Magic, The Mystical Magic, and The Destiny Kind of Magic.
Besides The Mystical Magic, which I talked about in My “Happy December” Newsletter Last Year;
The Unexpected Magic and The Destiny Kind of Magic are The Most Awesome of All.
Unexpected Magic is One I hear about Alot.
In The World of Disney, They call it “Magic Moments” where Disney Cast Members do Extra Things to help make Your Time at Disney World (or Disneyland) even more Magical. Like a Special Pin; An Upgrade; Surprise Gifts; or Even A Bus Driver can have A Guest Choose The Route or Destination.
Of Course, It fails to Mention that “Magic Moments” can happen outside of Disney World too Ya Know.
Helping Someone with Their Groceries; Helping The Elderly with Things that They need; or Even Paying for Someone’s Meal, wherever that Might be.
And, Then, There is The Destiny Kind Magic,
When You might be Walking out and about Somewhere, like The Grocery Store, A Park, even a Party and You run into The Person of Your Dreams! Maybe It might be that, You are scrolling on Facebook, Instagram, or Even TikTok and You find The Person of Your Dreams! Believe Me, It can Happen!
Of Course, Outside of Romantic Destiny, Maybe You might be “Younger” Age and Wonder where Your Friend from High School is Now, Later on, You reach out and Hang Out with Them, It is like No Time had Gone By! Maybe You show up to An Accident at Just The Right Time and Save A Person.
Or You could Help Your Elementary Crush’s Sister (and, Mother) find Closure to Their Daughter’s Passing!
Side Note: That happened 10 Years Ago This Year, Believe It or Not! The Possibilities are Endless!
Now, One More Order of Business to Take Care of Opening The Year! It is another Tradition here at The Christianville Spirit. Every Year, I Make Goals with The Best Heart in Mind Goals with Love, Heart, and Of Course, with Giving.
I have Learned that You can plan Goals and Destiny at The Time, says “Not Yet”. So, Maybe I should have My Goals more toward Where I want or Believe that Destiny wants me to go. I will still have My Goals but, This Year I am Letting My Angel Director of Destiny and Of Course, My Guardian Angel lead The Way because They know Where I am headed and Not what I want but, What I need!
So, Here are My 2026 Goals with Love and Belief in My Heart!
++++ I Know, I said This Last Year but I feel It is Time that I Deserve to be with My Forever Romantic Person. It is Formal Term that could mean Soulmate, True Love, or Life Partner. Soulmates are rumored to Come, Give You Lesson, and Leave. At Least, That is a Theory that I heard. A Forever Romantic Person is The Kind of Love that makes you Complete as well as Love that You can perfect over The Years. Love that makes you Fall in Love over and over, and You never get Tired of It; that Laughing at Something really Mundane kind of Love; Lay Underneath The Christmas Tree together or like Laying on The Grass looking at The Stars, with only The Christmas Lights at Night kind of Love; Singing to Our Favorite Song kind of Love; and, The Kind of Heart that will Love You No Matter what You look like or What You are doing kind of Love! Someone that is as Christina Yang of The TV Show, Grey’s Anatomy said “You're My Person”. Director of Destiny, “Ma Take The Wheel” with This One!
++++ Personal One: Quit Accepting “Fake Love” as Being Okay with It! Seriously, People should Love Me because They genuinely want to, Not because They have to.
++++ Maybe have Faith’s Daughter teach me to Paddle Board. I would believe that Faith, herself, would still want me to at least try it. Might have to have G.P Diana Help with That One!
++++ And, Finally on The PTLS Front, 2026 is The 19th Year since PTLS was Named and The 13th Year since The PTLS Foundation was Started! So, I will assist The PTLS Foundation in My Own Way! Support My Young Adult PTLS Friends, and Of Course, Believing in and Inspiring PTLS Family Members and Friends!
So, Those are My 2026 Goals! Kind of Hard to set Goals after a Few Rough Years! However, I am looking forward to a Year of Encouraging Magical Moments, A Year of Big Events, and A Year of Happiness and Good Things! Welcome 2026! We have been waiting for You!
