Be Calm, My Readers! This is a Meaningful Greeting in My Life and I am sure Everyone needs These Days, to be Calm. One of The Things that I hate the Most about PTLS is not being Calm, aka Anxiety. By The Way, I had to take a Week off due to a Death in The PTLS Community. My Friend, Kristi. Because of The Oh-So-Sensitiveness of Her Passing;

I am going to do a Short Summery of Her. I met Kristi at The PTLS Conference in 2012, Being Friends for 10 Years. She was a Great Friend, One that You could talk to about Random Things. She was pretty much was My 2nd PTLS “Sister”. She was a Very Great Friend! If I had to Pick My 2 Favourite Memories of Her. It would be The Ride on The Metro Train after The PTLS Conference in Houston in 2012, with Her and Her Family and Of Course, Her “Trademark Saying”. Everyone has a Trademark Saying or Maybe Trademark way of Saying Something; Sort of like The Way Doctor Oz says The Word, “Poop”. Anyway, Kristi’s Trademark was Ending her Greetings or Statements with The Term “Hun”. She called Everyone “Hun”.

So, What about This has to do with Being Calm or PTLS Anxiety? Well, In Classic Trademark, I appointed her as part of My Angel Cabinet Members. Her Position?

 The Director of Anxiety!

Effective January 25th at Release of This Newsletter!

A Very Important Position in My Life and The Lives for Her Family as well.

I am Dedicating This Newsletter and It’s Rerun in Memory of Kristi! Love You like Family, Kristi!

Happy Autumn, My Readers! Sorry Guys, I forgot to wish you a Happy Autumn last week. So, Happy Autumn anyway. I like that word, Autumn, it actually sounds better than Fall. Anyway, on to This Week’s Newsletter. So, when I scroll through My Facebook News Feed, Interesting Stories pop up (I call them “Push Backs” because I send them to Safari and I read them after I get done with Facebook) that I find to Read. Most are about Travel or Romance. But, This One got to Me. It was an Article from a Special Needs Advocate Blog called “The Mighty”. This Article was about What It is like with High-Functioning Anxiety. That basically means that I can do a lot by Myself but, We have Anxieties to go with it. I am thinking that Anxiety is a common trait of People with Special Needs and that includes PTLS. Don’t get me Wrong, I Love PTLS, I Love having PTLS, I would never trade it for The World. Do I wish that There were Certain Attachments (or Clauses) that I would edit or get rid of? Sure I would. The Biggest Attachment I would want to get rid of, is You guessed it, Anxiety. Anyway, This Blog post on “The Mighty” explained in My Head, Perfectly what it is like with Anxiety being a High-Functioning Person with Special Needs. It mentioned also to Blog about It to Help You, as well as Others Understand, and That is what I am doing. So, When I am Anxious, according to My Mom, You can usually tell. If I am Anxious about a Certain Event, I get different ranges of symptoms, like a little Gagging (when I was little or in extreme situations), Throwing Up (in real extreme situations), Sweating, or Digestive Issues. Usually, My Mom can tell I am Anxious because I have a “Look” on My Face that says it all. We call it the “Something is bothering me/Face of Fear/I’m going to be Sick” Face. But, What about Anxiety Stress, I believe that The Article was referring to? Well, when I am stressed I tend to act different than What I normally do. I am more Quiet when I am normally Talkative, I ask a lot of questions, I get Headaches more often, Most of This Stuff I have written about before, and then Something that I have never mentioned is Something I like to called “My Curiosity thoughts”. Basically, They are, as My Mom says, “Intrusive Thoughts” that Everyone has normally, that usually goes in and then Pass Through, like how new parents worry about dropping a baby while they are holding them. They know they will not do it, but the thought “Pops” in their head. But, For Me, It “Pops in” and then I obsess about it, and Then I have to let it Out somehow. It really bothers me when these Thoughts Pop in. I know they will not happen, but They sure are Bothersome. The Best Way I have found to let them out is either Blurting it Quickly, Say “Sorry Mom”(even though my mom did not even hear what I said), Hug, and Move on or I say it in a Joke form. Other Times, I would tell it to “Shut Up” and hope it goes away, and Get it to Pass Through. It can range anywhere from “Should I say or do this?”, and Not-So-Nice Words. Now, I would never actually do or say any of those things because I have No Mean Bone in My Body and I hate when They come in. It really Annoys Me when I have a “Curiosity Thought”! I have realized that When I am Anxious about Something that is going to happen that I am Not sure about, They start to show up more than I would like them to. I am wondering also if I am Imitating things that I see or hear about. Considering that I watch The News everyday to hear about What is going on in The World, which I use to Teach me things about How The World works, it is not good. I am struggling to even write this because It is hard to explain What is in My Head. My Mom looked it up one time about The Thoughts and Told me that It is common for those that have Autism to have those “Curiosity Thoughts”, but I read that Those with Autism tend to follow through with The Thoughts, where I would not. It makes me wonder though, It is a Little-Known but, Common Theory for those PTLS as well. The Article mentioned that You tend to have Self-Damning (If You will) Thoughts like Your not good enough, Your a Bad Friend, Your a Loser, Your Pathetic and It is basically Energy that needs to get out somehow. They say to Exercise, Walk, Run, or Just talk it out. But, Not to go all Psychology on You, but, Those Kinds of Thoughts are Common for Everyone. It is how “The Enemy” (as I explained in a Previous Newsletter) tries to Get you, to Upset You, and Pull You away from Your Destiny, that is his (It sounds better) job. I am thinking “It” should get a New Job. I often worry that I will have those Thoughts even in My Future, with My Future Wife around. I am sure that She will change that, at least I would think. I will always have some kind of Anxiety but, I would rather get rid of that one. All in all, I hope that You understand that It is Hard to get what is in My Head out for You can Understand.

The Christianville Spirit: The 5 Types of New Years

January 12th, 2022 – TCS # 758

Greetings and Happy January, My Readers! My Greeting is actually Greetings! That is Funny! Also, although I said Happy New Year already, It is a Happy January as well. Just because You enter January by saying “Happy New Year” does not mean You cannot say “Happy January”.

So, Here is an Interesting Tidbit that I Learned! Did not You know that according to Two Calendars, We technically have not came into 2022 yet. Confusing, right? Well, It all depends on which Calendar that You are Using and The Different Types of New Years. I wrote about This back in 2014 but, There was One Type of New Years that I did not know about until Now. I listed them as The Following: Fiscal (US State Gov.), Federal (US Government), Calendar New Years (December 31st of Old Year-January 1st of New Year), and finally Chinese New Year (January 31st-February 1st).

The Calendar New Years is The One that Everyone knows. Commonly known as The “Gregorian Calendar”. In Other Words, The Calendar that is used in The Modern Day. However, There is another Calendar that People use. Now, I realize that There are Many Calendars that People use around The World. From The Jewish Calendar to The Juche Calendar, that is Only used in The Country of North Korea, by the way. However, It is Julian Calendar that I am referring to. Today is January 12th of 2020 in The Gregorian Calendar of Modern Day but, Today is December 30th of 2021 in The Julian Calendar with Tomorrow, Thursday being New Years Eve on The Julian Calendar. Basically, The Julian Calendar is the One that People were using in The Time of Jesus. In Modern Young People Speak, It is O.G of Calendars. In Other Words, The Most Original as It gets. The Thing that confuses me is that on January 31st, February 1st is not February 1stIt is February 32nd. Basically, It counts up instead of Returning back to 1 at The Start of February. At least, That is My Understanding anyway! So, Happy Julian New Year’s Eve to You! Now, I am going to let 2014 Me explain about The Calendars that I know about! Enjoy!

So, As We all Know, The Last Year of 2013 wasn’t as Good as we would have wanted it to be. 2013 started bad, middle was good, and Holiday Season felt, “Off” for some reason. Not just for Me, but a lot of People as well. Now, I know it is January of a New Year, but, Things don’t feel like They have changed, not just Me but, Everyone Else. Then, January, as I tell people is a Boring Month because There is nothing exciting happening over The Month of January and I know that for a lot of People, They are ready for February. Well, I found out about Something and then, thought of something interesting. Did you know that There are different types of New Years? There are 4 kinds and two of them are the Most Major. The 4 kinds are Fiscal (US State Gov.), Federal (US Government), Calendar New Years (December 31st of Old Year-January 1st of New Year), and finally Chinese New Year (January 31st-February 1st). I did not know about The Government New Year, but those are More Irrelevant to us Normal Americans. So, The Fiscal Year (I learned this from “LifePath”) is September 1st-August 31st, which is how The State Government pays for Their Programs. The Federal Year (I learned this during The US Government Shutdown) is October 1st-September 30th. and, Finally, The Calendar Year (Which We all Know) is January 1st-December 31st. However, The Last One are another story. Now, Normally, I would not pay attention to Chinese New Year because I only know so much about it, so It just goes over My Head and We move on to Valentines Day. But, Oh! Do I have Good News for You! You See, The Chinese Calendar names a Year after an Animal. a Dog, a Snake, a Rat, and a Horse, just to name a few. Anyway, Each of These Animals go on a rotation and Each Animal represents a Characteristic of The Year to Come as well as What Type of Luck will come your way. 2013 (Soooo Last Year!) was The Year of The Rat, hence probably Why Last Year was either Horrible for some to just “Not-as Great-as-It-should-have-been” or Okay. 2014, however, is The Year of Horse. The Horse, as We know (or should know) are a Very Gentle and Understanding Animal. They sense More things about You than You Know. They sense Your Energy and Help You Improve It. But, They are fun too! You can stroll along The Beach with them (This is a Year for Travel, They Say) and Yes, They are pretty Romantic, which The Chinese also say that, “There will be Surprise Romance.” And, also The Horses will teach you how to deal with Rises and Falls; as well to Run Off in The Sunset with Your Horse. This all Translates to “Great Successes and Triumph.” Now, The thing that is a Little Weird about Chinese New Year, or “Lunar New Year” as They call it locally, is that it doesn’t start until January 31st and goes until Valentine’s Day, respectively. Where as So Much of The World are used to The New Years counting down and watching the ball drop on New Years’ Eve. The Chinese, do their New Year a Month Later. It seem like we got all excited about The New Year of 2014 and Things are still the same in January. But, That is because I believe that, “The Year of The Horse” starts in February. In My Literal Mind, I thought that, “The Year of The Horse” started in January with The Rest of The Celebration but, I am wrong about that. So, The Good News is that, “The Year of Rat”(2013) is almost done and Ready to Begin, “The Year of The Horse”(2014) in a just a few days. So, with that said, Happy Lunar New Year! The “Year of The Horse” is going to be Awesome! So, Do you what This really means? You can start your New Years’ Resolution all over Again and That’s Good News! All in allIt is Interesting to Celebrate another Culture’s or Any Type of New Years.
