So, A couple weeks ago I was scanning through the TV Channels looking for something to watch and I found this new show on The History Channel. The show was called “Extreme Trains”, a show about a guy from Maine, who worked at a Train Depot; who crosses the country in search of the way America functions with Trains. Anyway, on the this episode he rode what is known as The Acela Train that runs along The Northeast Corridor or “ The Northeast Megalopolis”, which is an area ranging from Washington D.C to Boston, MA. Anyway, what makes this train amazing is that it is the fastest train in North America. In fact, the top speed of The Acela Train goes an astounding 150 miles per hour! There are no other trains in North America that go that fast. However, there are many trains in Europe that go even faster; Like one in Europe goes around 500 miles an hour. The Acela Train runs via a High Speed cable overhead and The Train is actually a part of the AMTRAK system.
The host rode the train line from Union Station in Washington D.C to South Station in Boston, MA. When the host rode the train he noticed the Hudson River Tunnel was really small. So small that it seemed like only the train could fit in it. Also He also found out that New York’s Pennsylvania Station is the busiest train station in The US. All in all, The Acela Train is an amazing Train.

Thanks for reading The Christianville Spirit. Don’t waste your life going as fast as this train, slow down and enjoy life.
