Well, My Readers, PTLS Family Members, and Friends, It looks like We have come to The End of Another Year here at The Christianville Spirit and What a Year it was.
Wow! “What a Year” 2024! This Year was needless to say,
An Interesting Year! It wasn’t as Rough as Years prior but, Needless to say, It was an Interesting Year! This Year did have a Bit of Drama (in both Personal and Political Realms) and, Some “Not-On-The Bingo-Card" Events that came Out of Nowhere! Like I said, An Interesting Year!
My Mental Health (Anxiety) did get much better This Year compared to Last Year of 2023.
I entered This Year with Cautious Optimism, because of The Rough Years that I have had Previously and in a way, Coming down from it. It is Hard to explain. So, I mean This Year was better but, still Rough around The Edges. I did become more like My Normal Self this Year, but by The End of The Year, I felt more like Myself!
So, As Much as We want to scream Happy New Year, We have to Review This Year before We can move on. So, The One thing that We definitely needed in This Crazy Year was Something that I tried My Best to Provide, The Brightest Light that I, as well as My Mom could Shine This Year!
Lord Knows, Everyone could use a Shiney Light with This Sometimes Difficult but, Interesting Year!
That was not only This Year’s Tagline and Theme but, This Year unlike Any other Year, We really needed it!
The Tagline and Theme of 2024 is The Spirit that Shines Brightly! This Tagline Credited to My Mom’s Gal-Pal, Linda (Code Name: G.P Linda)
So, First Thing that We need to Review is Something that I do Every Year, which is My Goals of The Year which I always set with Love, Heart, and Most Importantly, with Hope.
I have Learned that You can plan Goals and Destiny at The Time, says “Not Yet”. So, Maybe I should have My Goals more toward Where I want or Believe that Destiny wants me to go. I will still have My Goals but, This Year I am Letting My Angel Director of Destiny and Of Course, My Guardian Angel lead The Way because They know Where I am headed and Not what I want but, What I need!
I am Happy to report that I did accomplish some of This Year’s Goals, 2 out of 4! So, I am still hopeful for 2025!
So, Here are My 2024 Goals with Love and Hope in My Heart!
++++ I Know, I said This Last Year but I feel It is Time that I Deserve to be with My Forever Romantic Person. It is Formal Term that could mean Soulmate, True Love, or Life Partner. Soulmates are rumored to Come, Give You Lesson, and Leave. At Least, That is a Theory that I heard. A Forever Romantic Person is The Kind of Love that makes you Complete as well as Love that You can perfect over The Years. Love that makes you Fall in Love over and over, and You never get Tired of It; that Laughing at Something really Mundane kind of Love; Lay Underneath The Christmas Tree together or like Laying on The Grass looking at The Stars, with only The Christmas Lights at Night kind of Love; Singing to Our Favorite Song kind of Love; and, The Kind of Heart that will Love You No Matter what You look like or What You are doing kind of Love! Someone that is as Christina Yang of The TV Show, Grey’s Anatomy said “You're My Person”. Director of Destiny, “Ma Take The Wheel” with This One! (Seriously, Ma! Must be Next Year!)
++++ Personal One: Keep The Momentum Going from Last Year! Becoming Myself Again! (I am Very Happy to Say that I worked hard on This Goals! 3 Trips in One Calendar Year, Closer to Average)
++++ Maybe have Faith’s Daughter teach me to Paddle Board. I would believe that Faith, herself, would still want me to at least try it.
(Maybe Next Year! Okay, Faith?! I’m putting in Your Hand This Time!)
++++ And, Finally on The PTLS Front,
2024 is The 17th Year since PTLS was Named which I feel should be a Big Deal.
17th Year = 17th Chromosome. Support My Young Adult PTLS Friends, and Of Course, Believing in abilities of PTLS Members and Friends!
(Okay, I think I nailed This One! Between Myself and My PTLS Friends, We have reached many high goals)
So, Those were My 2024 Goals! Kind of Hard to set Goals after a Few Rough Years!
So, Generally, Most of These Goals have been moved to The Year of 2025. I believe that I will have Much Better luck Next Year! Now, Yes, I know that I may sound Negative when Reflecting about This Year. Now, Just Because Crazy Stuff happened this Year does not mean that Good Things did not come out of It. It may sound Crazy but, Sometimes, The Best Things can come out of Not-So-Great Things. So, with that said, I cannot wait until 2025.
So, with that said, Before 2024 comes and We excitedly watch The Ball drop, Let’s Re-Live 2024 via what I call “Christian’s Year-In-Review 2024”, My self-produced Year-In-Review.
So, without Further adieu, Let’s get started!
So, like all Years We start in ++ January
This Year had Alot of Different Anniversaries, like 10 Years since XYZ; 5 Years since XYZ. In This Case, It was 10 Years Ago on New Year’s Day (January 1st) that My Brother moved out of Our House and Up to Denton during His College Days.
For Me Personally, on January 13th, was a Sad Day because It had The Second Anniversary of My Friend, Kristi passing away.
Before I start with The News, I try as Hard as I can to avoid any Upsetting Political Stories, but For The Sake of History and My Year-In-Review, I feel I must mention them. If I feel that It may Upset (or Trigger) Someone, I will say, Political Story Alert! So, Let me say this first. Let Me Make it VERY Clear that Us here at The Christianville Spirit and In Integrity of This Newsletter, **The Christianville Spirit is and Forever will be Non-Politically Aligned with any Candidate or Leader.**
In Sports News, The University of Michigan won The National Championship for The First Time since 1997 on January 8th! In The World of Travel, It was a Big Deal because The Newest Cruise Ship out of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, The Icon of The Seas set Sail as
“The World’s Largest Cruise Ship” with like 6 Water Slides and like 4 Neighbourhood Zones!
Going into The “Love Month” of ++ February,
It was a “Quiet Month”, however on February 19th, It was 10 Years since The “In Search of Bridgett” Newsletter (Refer to Newsletter 390)! In Music News, Very Sad News Actually! Country Singer, Toby Keith passed away on February 6th. One of The Best Country Singers in My Opinion! Towards The End of February, There were Fires in The Texas Panhandle (Northeast of Amarillo)
Now, A Highlight of The Year, The PTLS Month of
++ March (Marzo)! The Years since PTLS was named , finally Matched The Number of The Chromosome that PTLS is on (p.11.2)! It was The 17th Year of PTLS! Meanwhile, in Mid-March was My Uncle Bruce’s 60th Birthday (A Big Event for Him) and Of Course, For Easter, My Mom and I took a Trip down to Tampa to My Uncle Craig and We have an Amazing Time down There! It really was needed! In The News, Tragedy struck! As The Famous, “Francis Scott Key” Bridge (on I-695 Baltimore Beltway) collapsed on March 26th! It was a Big Event for The Road Community! And, It will take Years to Rebuild! On March 25th, Political Story Alert! (PSA!) There was an Attack at The Opera House in Moscow, Russia!
Then, We Enter into The Historic Month
++ April!
It was Historic for Two Reasons! One is that, We got to Spend an Extra Day in Tampa on April 1st and Got to see My Uncle Craig’s “Media Model” . Reason # 2, is that on April 8th,
There was a Solar Ellipse that went over The United States and Actually, Went over My House, We got an Amazing
4 Minutes of Totally! It was so Awesome! It looked like a Ring in The Sky!
Meanwhile, in Weather News, 2 Years worth of Rain fell in One Day in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on April 15th! For The Record, It rained 9.6 Inches in One Day! It caused Alot of Flooding! Also, An EF-3 Tornado hit The Small Town of Sulpher, Oklahoma!
We Enter into ++ May with Another Historic Event! This Time, An Anniversary Marking! I have a Hard Time believing The Following, It has been 25 Years since Elementary School on May 20th! In Weather & Personal News, on The Morning of May 28th, The Winds outside My House were Literally Blowing like a Hurricane! We called it “Hurricane Morning Storm”! In The News, Political Story Alert (PSA!),
The President of Iran passed away in a Helicopter Crash on May 19th.
Two Big Moments happened in The Smith Family Nation in The Month of ++ June because in Mid-June, My Cousin, Taylor got Married! And, Then, The “Not-On-The-Bingo-Card" Event of The Year, I met Grandma Honey’s Long Lost Family (LLF), who My 2nd Cousin, Nikki in Atlanta on June 28th! Meanwhile, in Sports News, The Florida Panthers (NHL) won The Stanley Cup for The First Time in History on June 24th. Also, I should mention that while We were in Atlanta for The “2nd Cousin LLF Trip”, There were Three Events happening on The Same Time! Latin American Soccer Event; Olympic Trials; and
Political Debate (PSA!) Trump v. Biden
At This Point of The Year, which I refer to as Mid-Year, I invented a New Holiday called Mid-Year's Eve (June 30th) and Mid-Year's Day (July 1st). I explained The Following Way,

With The Exception of Getting New Neighbours across The Street from Us on July 15th, It was “Quiet Month”.
In Terms of Historic Anniversaries,
on July 11th, It was 30 Years since We moved to Plano! And,
It has been 10 Years since I Met “The Famous Deb”.
In Sports News, It was The Olympics in Paris, France (F) from July 26th to August 11th. And, In The News, Scary & Political News (PSA!), Former US President Trump was Shot on July 13th! Luckily, He turned out Okay. Thank Goodness! No One wants to see that!
Now, We enter into My Birth Month of
++ August
Where I turned the Ripe Young Age of 37 Years Old! That was Hard to believe too, 37 Years Old! On My Birthday was The Closing Ceremony of The Olympics in Paris. We celebrated My Birthday by having an Amazing Pizza Party with G.P Linda! Also, My Brother, Michael took a Trip to Japan for 2 Weeks! It really was Quite an Experience for Him! In Sports News, US Swimmer, Katie Ledecky became The Most Decorated Woman in US Olympic History on August 1st. Also, on August 3rd, The Caribbean Island of St. Lucia got First Gold Medal in History (In Women’s 100 Meter Running). Very Proud Moment for The Island of St. Lucia!
++ September started with Exciting Events here in Christianville where It was been One Year since The Opening of +“Christian’s World Amusement Park”+ which opened on September 5th (2023) and +“Ski Christianville”+ opened on September 15th (2023)
In Early September, A Close Family Friend’s Son passed away from Heart Complications from Surgery! A Low Point for The Year.
In Weather News, Hurricane Helene hit The Big Bend of Florida as a Category 4 Hurricane (Flooding in Tampa & Flooding in Atlanta). Very Rare for a Hurricane to hit Atlanta almost Directly! It massively Flooded The Mountains of North Carolina as well! In Sports News, on September 27th, Baseball Team, Oakland A’s played Last Home Game before moving to Las Vegas! The People of Oakland were not Happy about that!
++ October was A Big Month of Celebration because It was My Brother, Michael’s Birthday!.
Here at The Christianville Spirit, On October 4th, I entered into My 18th Year of Writing! Very Proud of That! My Newsletter is an Adult! I got to spend Time with My Brother before His Birthday because He came to Town for a Friend of His’ Wedding Party on October 12th. In Weather News, Tampa, Florida got a Double-Dose of Hurricanes because Hurricane Milton hits Tampa Bay as a Category 3 Hurricane on October 9th. It did affect Our Family Members that live in Tampa! They are Okay though! On October 1st to The 3rd, Political Story Alert (PSA!), There was a Port Strike on The US Coast Line that closed US Ports including Miami and Los Angeles, The Strike lasted 3 Days! Also, Floods in Valencia (E) Spain on October 30th!
++ November was Certainly a Month to Remember because of an Event that Christianvilleians hold dear to Their Hearts.
It was a Historical Anniversary for Christianville and Christian’s Best Friend’s Festival! It was The 5th Year of The (New) Festival Day, McKenna-Faith Day!
Okay, Political Story Alert (PSA!), for Historical Reason, I need to mention that US President Donald Trump won 2nd Term as President at 12:41 AM Central. Personally, It should not be Announced that Late, No Matter Who Wins. Just Sayin’! In The News, There was a Factory Explosion in Louisville, Kentucky!
And, Finally, We get to ++ December!
Now, I will save you and Not Write about Negative News Events because I feel that You do not deserve that as Your Year Ending. I think that We have had Enough of The News and Negative Things. So, Let’s End The Year with Something I’m calling, “Choose Your Own Adventure”
