The Spirit that touches Your Life
February 18, 2009- TCS # 135
As we know, 2 weeks ago Congress and President Obama voted to delay the DTV Switch to June 12. But, the other day I looked up which TV stations are going to change anyway because I read in several places that even though the February 17th deadline has been delayed, it told me that some TV Stations that are ready to change will in fact change on or after February 17th. So, I looked up which ones were changing just out of curiosity and I found that hundreds of TV Stations are changing. Many of them weren’t in many major city markets. A majority of them were in smaller markets like Madison, WI; Sioux Falls, SD; and, Burlington, VT just to give you an idea. The most surprising was The Burlington, Vermont Market; there they changed all the TV stations in the market including major TV networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS. Now, although you might think the smaller markets changed, the minor TV stations of major markets changed. Like in the Atlanta market, they’re PBS stations changed and in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, a religious and Spanish channel changed to DTV. So, all in all you might need to check which station changed to DTV and if one of them is your favorite station you might want to get a converter box or connect to Cable. Also, there’s the option of watching your show online.
Thanks for reading The Christianville Spirit. Focus on Happy things and happy things will come.
