Happy (New) Year of Writing, My Readers! Interesting Greeting, You might say! Well, as of Last Week, I have entered into My 17th Year of Writing!
Next Year, My 18th Year, My Newsletter will be The Age of An Adult in The US! Isn’t that Crazy?!
So, To Begin My 17th Year of Writing, First Off I would like Humbly Thank You, My Readers for Always being There to Read My Newsletters. Whether You just Found out that Your Child has PTLS, in which Welcome to The PTLS Family! Please Refer to The “PTLS FAQ” Newsletter before Continuing On.
On to This Week’s Newsletter! Okay, so This Newsletter is going to be a Rather Deep One!
If You will recall in My Newsletter History that 10 Years Ago, Back in 2013, I thought that I would do an Series in Which, I would write a Letter to Several People, Including Siblings, Friends, Love Letter to Lynee, PTLS Family Members (I recommend that one!), and A Future Letter to Myself.
Funny Thing about that, You write a Future Letter to Myself and then, When It’s Time, You basically read a Letter that You wrote Yourself, from Yourself. I have to say, that a Very Strange Feeling! Well, It turns out, The Other Day, October 9th, It was that Time! So, As A Present to You for Riding with Me for 17 Years of Writing, I am going to Share with You This Letter and Then, React to It!
++ The Letter
“Dear Future Christian,
Hey! This is Christian from 2013! This is a Future Letter to You and For Reference, it was written on October 9th of 2013. By The Time that You read this, You will be in your late 30s’ or 40s’. If you are not above at least 10 Years (You’ll be 36) after You Wrote this, I recommend You stop reading! So, on to The Future! Now, Normally these start out with Job, the Girl, and Where in Life I want to be like Marshall did on How I Met Your Mother (That is how You got this Idea from!) But, There is one major Priority before all of that. This, I want to make sure will always be there, and that is Your Love of Family. Out of all the things I list below, Remember This, No Matter how crazy Life gets and No Matter what happens in Life; Remember that Family always comes First! Of Course, God always comes first but, On Earth, Along with God, Family comes First. Now, at this point, If you live on Your own or with a Significant Other, Don’t forget the Key People, being Your Mom, Your Brother, and Yes, even Your Dad. So, on the Significant other thing, If Who Should be Your Wife by Now is The Women of Your Dreams that You came up with, named Bridgett, Then One, You are Very Lucky and Two, Congratulations on Your Dream coming True because Not Many people have that power. If however, Her Name is not Bridgett, but She is still The Women of Your Dreams, then that is Okay too. I’m Sure Your Wedding was Nice and Beautiful, but Small. and Your Honeymoon was really Romantic. By Now, You should be Traveling the World, in Real Life, seeing all there is to see in this Beautiful World. I’m sure it is so Awesome! So, on to The Job, You should have a Job that You Love! So, that could mean Navteq, Tour Guide or a Travel Agent. A little extra note about Your Family, More along the line of Your Immediate Family, Your Mother at this time, should be Re-Married to The Person that She spends the rest of Her Life with. The Plan is that You live with Bridgett and Your Mother lives down the street. If that didn’t work out, Make Sure that You at least live NEAR Your Mom. I’m sure that Your Mom’s Wedding was Really Beautiful and It was a really Happy Moment for all of You. Next, Your Brother too, should be with His Women of His Dreams and should be getting ready for Grandchildren for Your Mom, If that has not happened already. So, For Fun, We travel The World and along with visiting with PTLS Family Members, and helping spread Awareness of PTLS. By The Way, PTLS has really grown and is becoming the Size of Autism. Also, Just a Note, Not that it will happen, but If in the event that The Doctors offer a Helper or Cure to Your PTLS, for the love of Goodness, Don’t Take It! And, Encourage Your Other PTLS Family Members not to as Well. And, Finally, Your Newsletter is Very Successful and You are still Writing, against all odds. The Future sounds really great and I can’t wait to be You!

++ My Reaction
Wow! I seriously Believe that It was Time already! Where did The Time go?! A Few Months ago, I had a Realization that This Year, 2023 and My 36th Year would be The Year that I would have to Read The Letter to Myself.
Now, When I first thought of It, I kinda Dreaded it because My Travel Habits have been Lower than My Usual Self and Going through a Phase of High Anxiety, then Trying to come out of Said High Anxiety. However, I was relieved at The Same Time, because I curious How Much I changed in the Past 10 Years. When Marshall from The TV Show, How I Met Your Mother read His, He was Shocked at What He wrote and also, Amazed at What He wrote.
So, I will put My Reaction into Segments of The Letter.
++ (Family Comes First!)
My Life has changed a lot but, This is One Thing that has Never Changed! Family will always come First to Me!
My Mother raised me to be like that, and It would Extremely Disappoint Her in a lot of Ways! Even My Brother who is out there in Portland, Oregon, I am sure in His Heart knows that Family is Very Important!
++ (Woman of My Dreams, Bridgett or Other Rom. Person)
Ya Know, This “Bridgett Character” Storyline has been going in My Heart since 2010 (13 Years!) and I am still holding on The Faith about Her. I have Faith, Call it a PTLSers Intuition that Bridgett herself is Reading This, Thinking the Same Thing! It is about Time that We finally Meet!
Now, I will say that One Change that I never saw coming and that when My Best Friend (Inside PTLS), “M.P Twinee” literally stole My Heart unknowingly back in 2019 (4 Years Ago). Then again, I Unknowingly stole Her Heart too. So, Fair is Fair, I guess. But, Like I said, I still have Faith about Bridgett. Otherwise, Why else would I have came with Her. Perhaps a Discussion among Myselves
Past Christian, Present Christian, and Future Christian would be in Order. I seriously wish I would do that! It would be Quite a Meeting!
++ (Traveling The World)
This One, I am Extremely Proud of! Back in 2013, I had only been to One Other Country,
The Border Town of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.
It was not until 2015, that I went on My First International Trip to The United Kingdom (GB/UK) and Sweden (S) for a PTLS Sponsored Business Trip and That is What started It all! One PTLS Sponsor in Spain (E); led to A Transfer in Iceland (IS) to go to Sweden and PTLS Sponsor in Germany (D) and A Day-Trip to The Netherlands (NL) On Top of that, Something I thought I would Never do in 2013, Go on a Cruise with a PTLS Family Member without My Mom or My Brother to Visit Honduras, Belize, and
Cozumel, Mexico All Resulting in 10 Countries Visited!
Now, That is an Accomplishment!
++ (My Job)
Okay, The Job is A Little Complex because Issues that
Special Needs People face here in America with
Social Security v. Payments of The Job plus Finding The Right Job with A Good Routine Environment and Low Stress.
Yeah, It’s Pretty Complicated!
++ (Mom & Brother’s Rom, Person)
This Segment of The Letter was My Romanticism Personality coming out in Full Force! My Mom’s Romantic Person has not Shown up (Like Bridgett) yet. Not to say that She hasn’t Tried. She did go on a Date one Time during My Uncle Craig’s Term in Dallas (10 Years Ago, If You can believe that).
My Brother’s Romantic Person. Well, My Brother has gone through a Few Girlfriends, One of Them maybe One that We genuinely liked. Meredith (to put it Nicely) went on Her Own Road. Ya Know, Got Married, had Kids...You get The Idea. Sorry Past Christian!
++ (Cure for PTLS)
Past Christian, I will let You know that I am Staying Strong about Not Taking a Cure for PTLS! I am who I am and I am Happy with That. Now, If They could take out Anxiety without affecting me Negatively, that would be Great. Otherwise, No Thanks!

So, I know I have asked a lot of Questions on all the Newsletters of This Series, “Enough with The Questions!” You Might Say, but I promise that this one is going to be a Gold One. By The Way, “Gold Newsletter” is my term for a Really Good Newsletter. So, Here comes the Question, Have you written a Letter to Yourself? For Most People, They don’t write letters to themselves unless they are going through a Really Bad Breakup and They want to Make Sure not to trust another Guy or Girl again. Then, there are those again, Very Rare now, where They take it upon themselves to write a letter to their Future Self. If you are lucky, Which I wish I was this lucky, they give it as Project in School. “Write a Letter to Yourself, Telling Things like, What You want to be when you grow up, What do you want to Accomplish in Life, and Where do you want to be in Your Life”, The Teacher would say. But, it would be hard to think of it at that age, but maybe when you are 16, then you do it. Although 26 is a late age to be writing a “Future Letter” I’m going to do one. So, without further a due, This is The Christianville Spirit Series, “Letters to Loved Ones”! So, For the 4th Installment of The “Letters to Loved Ones” Series, I’m going to write a “Future Letter” to Myself.

That was really great! Parents of My Readers, I truly do recommend having your child (or Yourself) write a Future Letter to Yourself and have them read it 10 or 20 Years later and see where they (or You) are after that many years. All in all, It could be exciting to look forward to The Future.
